The Aurora’s low-pressure tyres are designed to provide traction on land and propulsion in water, giving operators a practical way to cross wetlands, creeks and flood-prone areas. It’s ideal for properties and worksites where the ground conditions can change quickly.
ARGO Progressive Steering works with the Admiral transmission to deliver easier, more controlled handling across uneven terrain. It helps reduce operator effort while giving the driver more confidence when turning, climbing, crawling or navigating tight areas.
ARGO’s AirLock rims allow tyre pressure to be adjusted to suit the terrain, helping improve ride comfort, grip and stability. They also help keep the tyre secured to the rim when operating across rugged or uneven ground.

The ARGO Aurora Pro Series is ARGO’s commercial 8×8 amphibious vehicle range, designed to move people, tools and equipment through difficult terrain where standard vehicles may struggle. It is built for remote access, wet ground, mud, rough worksites and commercial applications that need serious off-road capability.
The Aurora Pro 950 8×8 is the higher-capacity model, with seating for up to 6 people on land, 990 lb land load capacity and 790 lb water load capacity. The Aurora Pro 950 XT 8×8 adds standard ROPS and roof, making it the more work-ready option for operators wanting added protection, although its load capacity is lower at 705 lb on land and 505 lb on water.
The Aurora Pro Series is designed for mud, wetlands, uneven ground, remote worksites, water crossings and rugged off-road conditions. Its 8×8 chassis, amphibious HDPE body, low-pressure tyres and water-capable design help operators access areas where conventional vehicles can become bogged, blocked or unable to pass.

ARGO positions the Aurora Pro Series under its commercial range, with features such as heavy-duty racks, brushguard, 3,500 lb winch, automatic chain lubrication, easy-access grease system, 1,800 lb towing capacity and a commercial warranty. It is suitable for rural properties, councils, utilities, emergency services, land management and remote work applications.
Both the Aurora Pro 950 8×8 and Aurora Pro 950 XT 8×8 use the VX 950 EFI fan-cooled V-Twin engine. ARGO describes the VX 950 as its highest horsepower engine released in an XTV chassis, designed to deliver reliable performance across different terrain, temperatures and climates.
